Transition of Bro. Kenyatta Smith

It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Kenyatta Smith. Kenyatta made his transition April 30th at home. Brother Smith was a faithful member of The Open Door from a youth. Most recently he was a vital part of the Food Distribution/Gleaners team twice a month and worked at the church as security weekly and during Tuesday – Thursday COVID testing at the church. He was known for being a hard worker and a gentleman helping every mother and sister in the church when needed. He was especially close with our First Lady and head of security, Brother Keith Jones.
