As most of our members are aware, our pastor was appointed the Chairman of the Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) for the Historic First Jurisdiction of Michigan in January of this year (please see the January blog post). In addition to our pastor being named the Chairman, the annual AIM Convention will be held at The Open Door C.O.G.I.C.-Detroit (our church) for the first time June 22 – 25, 2021.
This is a very exciting time! A time of healing, a time of recommitment, and a time of revival. Our pastor is praying for the fire of revival and for the Holy Ghost to come in and ignite the saints and save souls. This conference will be a soul winning and soul stirring conference with the following theme: “I’m Hungry, I’m thirsty for God; Lord I need more” Psalms 42:1-4. During the AIM Convention in June there will be a community food giveaway, outdoor prayer tents, evangelism in the community, intercessory prayer, virtual workshops, live and streaming services at 7pm nightly followed by a back-home hour, and so much more. We’re expecting a great move of God!
Registration is now available here. For a small donation of $10 you can register now for the AIM convention and receive the AIM registration packet. We’re encouraging every member of The Open Door to register asap and select our pastor’s (Chairman Evans) envelope to submit your registration.
